Often construction projects are out of budget. With the use of interactive lists and schedules we are able to extract information from the BIM model and provide model based quantity analysis, thereby reducing the risk of being out of budget. Legends decode the specific language used in the drawings, explaining what various abbreviations, colors and symbols mean. They ensure everyone reading the drawings is on the same page. Lists on the other hand allow the team to cross reference views, changes, and layouts, minimizing errors within the project and its drawing. Overall this training has been created due to the need of more concise extraction of information within a BIM project.
